We started the weekend, with a little cake for Ariana's one month birthday. Hard to believe that it's only ben one month ... seems so much longer (must be the lack of sleep). But its wonderful to have her around. Ari was so excited about being a month old, Dad and daughter 'celebrated' till 4am!
Saturday we all went out to celebrate a friend's 21st. Was an excellent night, though unfortunately we had to head home early.
Sunday was Dan's birthday lunch ... 27 on Monday. To some that's rather old, to other's that young, To Dan, that's just where he's up to.
It was a big afternoon, with great company (we partied at Poppy's and Grandma's ... as although Poppy is on the mend we didn't want to wear him out), great food (even with all the spinich) and presents (stereo, Lego Star Wars Starfighter, ipod remote and headphones, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Star Wars boxers, Guns and Roses T-shirt, Lego racer, and Velver Revolver and Guns and Roses Patches) {How spoilt is Dan??}

Well that rounds off our weekend, except that Dan is still up in the wee hours of the morning with a very unhappy little girl .. the magic beanie doesn't work ... **sigh** ... and the attempt to keep her awake for most of the day doesn't seem to have achieved too much either. But we think the big reason is wind pain .. she didn't really give us any burps today after feeding. Oh well.
